DC710 Scuba Dive Light with USB-C Direct Charging
The highly popular OrcaTorch D710 scuba dive light is the basis for a number of varieties, next to the D710, there is the D710V specifically for underwater photography and videography, the ZD710 with its changeable beam width and the DC710 that can be mounted on the WS02 Wrist Strap or the H620 Goodman Handle. So, if you want both your hands free during the dive but still want a bright dive light, the DC710 is the right choice for you.
The OrcaTorch DC710 is to some extent quite similar to the D710. As for the D710, when switching the DC710 on, it will produce a bright 1700 lumen narrow (6°) beam, which can be enhanced to 3000 lumen by holding the switch of the DC710 down. Alternatively, by just pushing the switch, the normal 1700 lumen can be reduced in two steps to 800 lumen or 400 lumen. Where it burns for one hour and 40 minutes with 1700 lumen, its burning time can be prolonged to 3 hours and 40 minutes at 800 lumen or even seven hours and 40 minutes at 400 lumen. For this, the DC710 is equipped with the strong 5000 mAh 21700 rechargeable battery.
The difference between the D710 and the DC710 scuba dive light comes not only with the possibility to connect the DC710 to the WS02 Wrist Strap or the H620 Goodman Handle. The charging is also different: there is no need to open the DC710 for charging. The USB C charging connection is hidden under a 3 cm broad ring on the outside of the DC710. When rotating that ring counter clockwise, it will move downward and reveal the USB C port. Above the port, there are two O-rings to protect it from water, one of which has a deliberately chosen red color: just to make sure that the ring is closed before entering the water. Keeping the USB C port dry asks for a bit more attention by the diver, but if you are careful with your equipment, that should not be an issue.

Frequently Asked Questions
I can't detach the bracket module from my DC710 flashlight. The screw is too tight. Is it traditionally designed? I should turn it counterclockwise, right?
The bracket module has been glued and cannot be unscrewed.
Will the DC710 light work with any 21700 batteries that I already have?
The DC710 light comes with an OrcaTorch 5000mAh 21700 rechargeable battery. While it is compatible with other 21700 batteries measuring 21mm in diameter and 75mm in length, we recommend using the OrcaTorch 21700 battery to ensure optimal runtime performance.
What are the differences between D710 and DC710?
The D710 offers a max output of 3000 lumens with multiple brightness settings and comes with a 21700 USB-C charging battery. The DC710 also reaches 3000 lumens but features a unique USB-C port design and can be mounted on a wrist strap or handle. You do not need to take out the battery of DC710 for charging.
How to activate the DC710 lock/unlock function?
Hold on the side switch for 5s to lock the torch in power off, and double click the side button to unlock after it is locked (the light will flashes twice as a reminder when it is locked or unlocked.)
How to activate the DC710 Turbo mode?
Hold on the button when the light is on for the turbo mode 3000 lumens, back to normal mode once released.
