Four Levels of Brightness

The D710 features a single-button control system, easily operable even with thick diving gloves:

Single Click: Power on/ Cycle brightness levels (High → Mid → Low)/ Power off
Hold for 0.5s to active 3000 lumen Turbo mode, release and return to normal brightness
Hold on the switch for 5s to lock the torch in power off, and double click the button to unlock after it is locked. (The light will flash twice as a reminder when it is locked or unlocked.)

1.What are the differences between D710 and DC710?
The D710 offers a max output of 3000 lumens with multiple brightness settings and comes with a 21700 USB-C charging battery. The DC710 also reaches 3000 lumens but features a unique USB-C port design and can be mounted on a wrist strap or handle. You do not need to take out the battery of DC710 for charging.

2.How to store my D710 batteries when not in use for a few month during winter season?
Please see the storage suggestion below if you would like to store your battery for a few months. 1. Charge the battery completely prior to storing 2. Keep the battery in a plastic battery case, store it in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.

3.How to activate the D710 lock/unlock function?
Hold on the side switch for 5s to lock the torch in power off, and double click the side button to unlock after it is locked (the light will flashes twice as a reminder when it is locked or unlocked.)

4.How to activate the D710 Turbo mode?
Hold on the button when the light is on for the turbo mode 3000 lumens, back to normal mode once released.

5.Is D710 a good choice for beginners?

6. Is the D710 a primary light or a backup light?
Both. At 3,000 lm Turbo and 1,700 lm sustained, it runs a full recreational night dive as a primary; at 152 g without battery it is small enough to ride as the backup on technical dives.

7.What battery does the D710 use and how do I charge the it?
It runs on one OrcaTorch 21700 5000mAh rechargeable battery. Unscrew the tube, take the 21700 rechargeable battery out and plug the USB-C cable straight into the port on the battery. The indicator shows red while charging and green when full.
