OrcaTorch D520 is a palm-sized dive light with a mechanically rotary switch. The rotary switch offers high reliability underwater. Using the CREE neutral white LED, its max output can reach 1000 lumens, meanwhile, the 5000K LED color temperature provides superb color rendition. Powered by one 18650 battery, its max runtime can reach 2 hours.

1.Is it safe to turn on/off the D520 underwater?
Yes, no problem. The D520 does not use a common push-button switch.Instead, it adopts a mechanical rotary switch. Although the rotary switch is very reliable, there is one thing to keep in mind: do not overtighten it. Once you feel the light turn on or off, stop applying further force.

2.I'm looking at your D520 and D560 dive lights, wondering if these can be used on land for short periods of time as well as underwater?
Yes, they can also be used on land for short periods of time.

3.The D520 is rated to 150 meters. Is that necessary for recreational diving?
The 150-meter rating indicates the torch's structural safety limit, reflecting higher standards of sealing and material strength. Even if you only dive to 30 meters, choosing equipment with a higher waterproof rating means greater reliability and safety.

4.What battery does the OrcaTorch D520 use?
It runs on one OrcaTorch 18650 3400mAh rechargeable battery.

5.How do I charge it?
It features a removable battery design. Simply unscrew the head by hand to replace the battery—no tools required. We recommend users planning long dives or multiple dives carry a spare battery.

6.Can I switch it on and off underwater?​
Yes — the rotary joint is sealed by three O-rings. Turn it only as far as the click point: once you feel the light change state, stop, or you risk over-compressing the rings.
