Phantom 30M Scuba Diving Reel Spool Finger Aluminum for Cave Diving, Wreck Diving, etc

The reel, itself, is well made and of a seemingly high quality. The photographs on this webpage are what sold me on the design and convinced me to give it a try. That being said, I was somewhat surprised upon opening the package.
The product is direct-shipped from China and appears to completely bypass Orcatorch's hands; in fact, Orcatorch's brand is nowhere to be seen on the reel as it is made and branded by a company called "Islet" (see photos).
The reel is much smaller than expected with a diameter of ~ 7cm or 2 3/4", compared to a "standard" reel (see photo comparisons) of ~ 8.5cm or 3 3/8". Granted, this issue is on me as the dimensions are right there on the page. Given its smaller size, however, the thumbhole is much smaller and is difficult to use with gloves on.
The swivel connection on the string is a great idea in theory, but I found that the string still twists considerably when winding in, without the swivel allowing the string to untwist.
My biggest issue, however, is the price. After paying US$76.95 for this fingerspool and realizing it appears to be a rebranding of another company's product, I hit the internet to see who else was selling the same spool, or one as nearly identical as one can ascertain from photos and dimensions, and was unpleasantly surprised to find several of them for sale around the US$25 point.
Again, it appears to be a well made spool, for ungloved use, just not worth the price when one can purchase the same item elsewhere for 1/3 the price.
