1.Can I buy additional light heads or battery packs separately?
Yes. Because FlexDive is truly modular, each component (light head, battery pack, cable) is sold separately. You can build exactly what you need and expand over time.

2.How do I charge the battery packs? Is USB‑C available?
Each battery pack (B98 or B49) supports two charging methods: Magnetic charging (quick, waterproof connection) ; USB‑C charging (universal, convenient for travel)

3. Are these battery packs allowed as carry‑on luggage on flights?
Yes. B98 is 98Wh and B49 is 49Wh, both under the 100Wh carry-on limit used by most airlines.

4.Can I use the spot and flood beams at the same time?
You can only turn both the spot and flood beams to their high setting simultaneously to get 8000 lumens. Long Press the right switch to turn it on and press left switch to adjust to spot and flood

5.How do I switch the cable between backmount and sidemount?
Loosen the threaded collar at the canister, rotate the cable to 90 degrees (side exit) or 180 degrees (rear exit), then tighten it again. The retention sleeve locks the angle in place so it will not swing mid-dive.

6.How long is the cable cord?
It is 1.3m.

7. What can the Goodman handle do?
Adjust it to suit your hands and your fingers free for other tasks. Rotate it up in front of the lens when packing or storing — it protects the toughened glass and makes the head slimmer in your luggage.

8.What is the difference between the B98 and B49 battery packs?
B98 is 98 Wh for long technical dives (6 h USB-C / 5 h magnetic charge); B49 is 49 Wh and lighter (3 h / 2.5 h). Both are under 100 Wh and carry-on legal.

9.How do the Canister and Handheld configurations differ?
Same head, different battery: the Canister (1,243 g on land, 630 g underwater) runs up to 22 h 35 min on low for technical dives; the Handheld (848 g / 365 g) is lighter and travel-friendly.

10.What do the two switches control?
The right switch: long-press to power on, then click to cycle the 150° flood (Low → Mid → High). The left switch works only after power-on: click to cycle 8° spot Low → High → spot + flood together. Once levels have cycled through, click the switch to power off. The battery indicator sits between the two.

11. Can the battery packs be used as a power bank?
Yes. Both B98 and B49 battery packs can be used as a power bank – perfect for recharging your camera, dive computer, or phone during surface intervals or remote expeditions.
