D700 Diving Flashlight Max 1700 Lumens

The OrcaTorch D700 dive light delivers up to 1700 lumens of bright, focused illumination in a compact 135g design. Featuring a narrow 6° beam and a convenient rotary switch for easy operation, this lightweight diving flashlight is ideal for recreational scuba diving, night dives, and underwater exploration.

OrcaTorch D700 Dive Light Light Up Your Underwater Adventures

Small yet powerful

The OrcaTorch D700 weighs only 135 grams, is 14 cm long and is 3.6 cm wide at its widest point, so it fits well in your hand and can easily be taken along for your next dive adventure.

Despite its small size, it delivers an impressive 1700 lumens of brightness for1h50min.

6° Narrow Beam

The D700 diving flashlight has a narrow 6° beam with 1700 lumens, which is perfect to focus your view under water, independent of the underwater visibility. Even in crystal clear water, you will see where your light is pointing.

And the combination of the LED and battery ensures a run time of just little less than two hours, so more than enough for even the longest dive.

Simple & Reliable Rotary Switch

The simple rotary switch design makes the D700 easy to operate while eliminating the risk of switch O-ring failure.

To put it simply, we all know that water and electricity are not the best friends. Scuba diving involves all sorts of challenging conditions that can pose risks to a dive light. Since the D700 has no traditional switch, there is no switch O-ring to fail. Instead, the D700 diving flashlight turns on and off with a simple twist of the light head. No fancy options or multiple brightness levels, just straightforward on/off operation – often all you need from a reliable dive light.

To reduce the risk of flooding, the light head features three O-rings. Since switching on and off only requires a quarter turn, all three O-rings maintain a watertight seal, even when the light is off. Not sure which direction to turn? No problem. After charging the 5000 mAh 21700 USB-C rechargeable battery, simply tighten the light head until the light turns on, then turn it a quarter turn in the opposite direction to switch it off. Underwater, just a small twist is all it takes to bring the D700 dive light to life. If you need to turn the head further to secure it, you're likely turning in the wrong direction.

FAQ

1. How do I turn the D700 on and off?
Simply twist the light head to turn the D700 on or off. Tighten the head to switch on and loosen it to switch off. Its mechanical rotary switch has no button or electronic switch components, reducing potential points of failure.

2. Is it easy to switch with one hand and thick gloves?
Yes. A quarter turn is all it takes to operate the D700. Its simple rotary design allows convenient one-handed operation, even when wearing diving gloves.

3. Why does the D700 have only one brightness level?
The D700 is designed for simplicity and reliability. Its single-output design means no need to cycle through brightness modes underwater. However, you cannot reduce brightness to extend runtime.

4. How bright is the D700, and what does the beam look like?
The D700 delivers up to 1,700 lumens through a narrow 6° beam. Its focused beam is ideal for illuminating distant objects and exploring underwater crevices and wreck interiors.

5. Can the D700 be used as a primary dive light?
Yes. The D700 can serve as a primary light for recreational diving in clear water. For low-visibility conditions or demanding technical dives, a more powerful multi-level light such as the D710 may be a better choice.

6. What battery does it use, and is one included?
The D700 uses one 21700 rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a 5,000 mAh capacity and a built-in USB-C charging port. A battery is included in the standard kit.

7. How can I tell how much battery power is left?
The D700 does not have a built-in battery-level indicator. You can check the charging indicator on the battery while charging. We recommend monitoring your dive time and battery usage.

8. Is the D700 suitable for underwater photography or video?
The D700 produces a focused 6° beam, making it more suitable as a focusing or targeting light than as a photography fill light. For evenly illuminating underwater scenes and achieving accurate colors, a dedicated wide-beam video light is recommended.
